"The war in Iraq has killed more Iraqi people in 18 days than Saddam Hussien did in 20 years. It has left many traumatised, crippled and homeless. The invasion that was supposed to liberate the Iraqi people, has left them in an even more hopeless situation.
None of the reasons given by the US have been proven credible.
Many believe that the invasion was a way in which the US could use gain access to the oil wells in Iraq. This was made obvious when the US oil indusry began to support the war in Iraq.
This led many to believe that the US had its own reasons to attack Iraq and were not heroic liberators of the Iraqi people.
As many innocent Iraqi civilians were killed in the invasion, few can claim that the liberation of Iraq was a success as it brought more death, destruction and suffering.
